Providing us with an email address is optional and it is only used for account recovery purposes, however, if one is not provided and you forget your password, it may not be possible to regain access to your account. The email address on an account can be changed or removed at any time by logging in.

We collect information from you when you register on our site or enter information on our site. The information collected includes a username of your choosing, a timezone for displaying dates and times according to your location, optionally your email address, and a password. Passwords are hashed and salted using Bcrypt with a high cost.

You can delete your Alt Address account at any time. Deleting your account will delete all of your account data including email address and username.

Do we use 'cookies'?

We have not enabled Google AdSense on our site. We do not use Google Analytics.

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy.
